The Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi, CBC Dubai, in collaboration with the Embassy of Canada to the UAE and Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is organizing a live webinar regarding "Defence and Aerospace Government to Government (G2G) Sales in the UAE."
Expert speaker, Clint Cossette, Director - Defence Sector of Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) will be presenting the following topics:
- Introduction to CCC
- Overview of support available for the UAE
- Embassy update: Defence Trends in the UAE – How does Covid-19 Recovery look?

Clint Cossette Director, Defence Sector - Canadian Commercial Corporation
Prior to assuming the role of Director of Defence Sales with CCC, Clint spent 11 years with General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), managing business development and operations in LATAM & Thailand. While with GDLS, he worked closely with the CCC in successfully negotiating and managing large armoured vehicle contracts with the Colombian Army and Peruvian Marine Corps. Aside from London, Canada, where he is currently based, he has worked and lived in Peru, KSA, Spain and Kuwait. Clint has a Bachelor of International Business from Carleton University and an MBA from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is married with two children.
Sally Koornneef Trade Commissioner – Energy, Defense and Security Embassy of Canada in the UAE
Sally Koornneef has been based in Abu Dhabi for 10 years now and has held various positions in International Trade throughout that time. Much of her work has included wide travel throughout the GCC, which has given her a strong regional overview. She spent a number of years with the Trade department at the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi before joining the Canadian Embassy. She completed a BSc. in Geo-Sciences in 2018.
