COP28 will be the 28th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and is scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2023. CBC Dubai is committed to being at the forefront of discussions that will shape the future of the world’s climate and will have an active program involving many aspects of the COP28 now and beyond.

They have already committed to reducing their carbon footprint and have already taken several initiatives to combat climate change, including investing in renewable energy and setting ambitious targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Committed to promoting sustainable development and transitioning to a low-carbon economy is part of Our COP28 initiative.

WHY COP28
It will provide an opportunity for countries to showcase their progress in achieving their climate targets and to negotiate new agreements aimed at reducing global emissions and limiting the impacts of climate change on the planet. Focusing on issues such as climate adaptation, mitigation, financing, and the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
